There's a lot of energy around the Ohio as groups of people and organizations pull together big initiatives aimed at repairing the river and highlighting how it enriches the communities it flows alongside.

Today, Congress passed the Rescissions Act of 2025, eliminating federal funding for public media. For Louisville Public Media, this means the immediate loss of $376,000 from our current budget and every year going forward. This was our single largest grant.

Louisville Public Media won three awards from the Public Media Journalists Association for work published in 2024.
