About this event

Voters in Kentucky have a unique perspective this election season. We want to hear from you about it as part of 1A and LPM News' "Remaking America" partnership that looks at how our Democracy is working β€” and how it’s not.

Kentucky is one of just 11 states with divided government where the governor is from one party, and the state legislature is controlled by another.

How do these divisions affect you? What will Kentucky's off-year election mean for the rest of the country?

1A Host Jenn White will talk with candidates on the ballot and journalists steeped in the Commonwealth's political landscape. But more importantly, we want to hear directly from you how state government is impacting your daily life.

Join us for this community conversation at Blak Koffee in Louisville on Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 6 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.
