Post Positions Drawn For Friday's Kentucky Oaks

The post positions and early odds are set for Friday’s running of the 142nd Kentucky Oaks at Churchill Downs.

A field of 14 will run in the fillies-only race.

The morning line favorite, with 7-2 odds, is Rachel’s Valentina, with jockey John Velazquez aboard. She’ll run from the 11^th post position.

The co-second choices are Cathryn Sophia and Weep No More, at 9-2. Land Over Sea is the third choice, at 5-1. For a complete list of the 2016 Oaks' post positions, click here.

The Kentucky Oaks has a total purse of $1 million. Post time is 5:49 p.m. on Friday.

The post position draw for the Kentucky Derby will be held Wednesday.
