New Metro District Maps, Energy for the Future, Fairness Ads in Berea: Afternoon Review

Some Louisville Metro council members will show their constituents new district maps based on the 2010 Census this week. Several members decided to wait until after former Councilwoman Judy Green's removal trial was over before going public with redistricting details.Kentucky gets most of its electricity from coal, but as new air pollution rules go into effect, coal becomes more expensive than it used to be. A presentation in Louisville tonight will discuss policies that can spur alternative, and cleaner, energy in the commonwealth.After months of pushing for a ban against discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation, a gay rights group in Berea is launching a new advertising campaign highlighting pro-fairness comments by City Council members.
