STATE OF AFFAIRS 12/01/10: For WFPL listeners, Michele Norris is a familiar name and voice on NPR's All Things Considered. Before joining NPR in 2002, Michele spent almost ten years as a reporter for ABC News in the Washington Bureau. She was also staff writer for the Washington Post, Chicago Tribune and the Los Angeles Times. In her newest book, The Grace of Silence, she turns her investigative eye toward her own background, researching her family's racial heritage. This Wednesday, she joins us to talk about her book and her career.
