STATE OF AFFAIRS 11/15/10: Most of us learned in grade school that Kentucky was a border state during the Civil War, but border doesn't necessarily mean neutral. The Commonwealth often seems to have an identity crisis - are we part of the south? Many Kentuckians feel southern and have ancestors who fought for the Confederacy - a way of identifying that has an effect on how they feel about Kentucky today. On Monday we'll talk to historians about Kentucky's Confederate identity.
