Voters in Kentucky and Indiana will elect a new U.S. Senator Tuesday and they'll also cast ballots for U.S. House candidates. In Kentucky, Republican Rand Paul and Democrat Jack Conway are vying for the U.S. Senate seat now held by Jim Bunning, who announced early this year he would not seek re-election.Indiana voters will elect a successor to Democratic U.S. Senator Evan Bayh, who chose not to seek another term. Republican and former Senator Dan Coats is the Republican nominee, facing Democratic Congressman Brad Ellsworth and Libertarian Rebecca Sink-Burress.There are contested races for all six U.S. House seats in Kentucky and Indiana's nine seats. In Louisville's Third District, the major party candidates are Democrat John Yarmuth, the incumbent and Republican Todd Lally. Republican Todd Young and Democratic incumbent Baron Hill are vying for southern Indiana's Ninth District seat.
