HomeGrown ushers in summer this week with words from one of the world’s great naturalists - who just happened to write a book called “Summer World” - and a look at growing figs in Kentuckiana. Our naturalist is Bernd Heinrich, who has spent a lifetime matching his observation powers and writing abilities with the wonders of nature.
