Boxer Greg Page Dies At 50

Former heavyweight boxing champion Greg Page has died at his Louisville home of complications from injuries he suffered in a 2001 fight. He was 50.Page held the World Boxing Association heavyweight title from December of 1984 until April of 1985. It was during a comeback attempt eight years ago against Dale Crowe in northern Kentucky that Page suffered injuries that left him permanently disabled.

Rick Howlett was midday host and the host of LPM's weekly talk show, "In Conversation." He was with LPM from 2001-2023 and held many different titles, including Morning Edition host, Assignment Editor and Interim News Director. He died in August 2023. Read a remembrance of Rick here.
