YUNGBLUD: "I feel lucky to have come up with artists like Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X"

YUNGBLUD

YUNGBLUD on sampling The Cure, channeling Radiohead, and how information kills art

YUNGBLUD joins Kyle Meredith to discuss his self-titled LP. Dominic Harrison shares the joy of midnight album releases, reminiscent of the way he used to do for the Arctic Monkeys, and explains why he chose to self-title the record. He also addresses the criticism that comes with increasing fame and how those moments inspired songs like "Funeral."

The British musician/actor delves into the conversational style of lyrics he aimed for in this album, sampling The Cure, and channeling influences from Radiohead and The Jam. YUNGBLUD also talks about coming up alongside artists like Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, and Mac Miller.
