They call themselves "an orchestra of friends," and started in the home of brothers Colin and Eric Jacobsen (who also play in the quartet Brooklyn Rider). The ensemble started playing around New York as "The Knights of the Many-Sided Table", and as the ensemble and their reputation grew, the name shortened to The Knights. You'll have a chance to catch them in concert on February 17th, with Wu Man, as part of the Speed Concert Series. They're album "A Second of Silence" is our Featured Album this week.
