New Food Truck Regulations Draw Criticism: State of the News [Audio]

Louisville food truck operators expected new regulations to make things easier for them, but many say what happened was the opposite. The rules call for, among other things, background checks and permits for all workers โ€” something owners say isn't required of workers in traditional brick and mortar restaurants. Friday on State of the News, LEO Weekly's Joe Sonka and WFPL's Phillip M. Bailey joined us to explain the new rules and what effect they might have on the local food truck scene.
