Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels is still not offering any hints as to whether he’ll seek the 2012 Republican presidential nomination. The governor was asked about his plans following an education announcement today in his office. "We haven’t played any games with this," he said. "I said we’d finish the legislature, which was just a week ago, then we’d turn our attention to this and give everyone and answer, and we’ll do that within a few weeks, at max."Daniels said former House Speaker Newt Gingrich’s entry into the race won’t affect his decision. He also told reporters that a rare speech by Indiana First Lady Cheri Daniels before state Republicans this week won’t include any remarks about his political future.
