The University of Louisville men’s basketball team returns to action Wednesday night. The 15th ranked Cards travel to South Bend to take on number eight Notre Dame, which hasn’t lost a home game this season. Coach Rick Pitino says senior guard and leading scorer Preston Knowles is back in the lineup after missing one game with a hamstring pull.He says two other players recovering from more serious injuries, center Gorgui Deng and forward Rakeem Buckles, could also return to game action soon."What generally happens with these long injuries, they come back and in the first game back they play really well, then it takes them about another week to ten days for them to get back into basketball shape," Pitino said Tuesday. Wednesday night’s game tips off shortly after 7:00pm. The Cards won the teams’ last meeting a year ago in Louisville.
