By Andy FreudenburgWith unemployment at its highest level in years groups like the Louisville Metro Community Action Partnership are trying to help slash those numbers. The group held job fair Friday at the Urban Government Center that was focused on giving future Certified Nursing Assistants and EMTs and others the chance to apply for positions.Employers such as Louisville Metro EMS, Jewish Healthcare and Norton Healthcare took part in the fair.“We do have opportunities for CNAs and Department Unit Secretaries and we came because they do have qualified CNAs coming to this job fair and those are some of the things we are looking for,' said Norton's Donnie Ogletree.Community Action Partnership Planner Debbie Belt said the group plans to follow up with the employers to see how many people they hired from the event.
