Marshall Holds Press Conference On Electromagnetic Attacks

by Gabe BullardDemocratic candidate for mayor of Louisville Connie Marshall held a press conference Friday to discuss alleged electronic harassment.Marshall was joined by members of the group Freedom from Covert Harassment and Surveillance, who say they are being attacked with electromagnetic signals.Marshall says she has been monitored and abused for seven years, often through her telephone and television, and she is running for mayor to help spread her message."I would be on the telephone—any telephone, land line, cell phone, any type of telephone—I'd be on the telephone and these signals would come through and I couldn't hear them, but it was like they were paralyzing my thoughts…I couldn't think," she says. "I think more important than being mayor—and I want to be elected as mayor—is to expose these atrocities that are going on in which I'm also a victim."Marshall says she doesn't think the electromagnetic attacks will hurt her in the mayor's race, as long as the public is educated on the topic. Marshall is one of eight Democrats seeking the mayor's office. Three Republicans and at least three independent candidates are also running.
