Issues affecting downtown Louisville were the focus of discussion Tuesday as eleven of the candidates for Louisville mayor squared off at the Kentucky International Convention Center.Republicans Hal Heiner, Chris Thieneman and Jonathon Robertson; Democrats Tyler Allen, Greg Fischer, Jim King, Connie Marshall, David Tandy, Shannon White and Burrell Farnsley; and indepedent candidate Jackie Green responded to eight questions during the hour-and-a-half event. It covered topics such as job creation, crime prevention, the Ohio River Bridges Project and establishing more locally owned businesses downtown.The debate was sponsored by the Louisville Downtown Devlopment District and was broadcast live on WFPL.The entire debate and post-debate analysis can be heard here.
