A federal judge has ruled in favor of Louisville Metro Government in most of a legal challenge to its animal ordinance.The Louisville Kennel Club and others filed suit after the Metro Council passed and Mayor Jerry Abramson signed into law a stricter animal ordinance in 2007.The new legislation was prompted in part by a pair of fatal pit bull attacks in Louisville.Among other things, U.S. District Judge Charles Simpson generally rejected the club's argument that the law is unconstitutionally vague.The text of the judge's ruling can be seen here.
