Milder Temps on the Way to Louisville Area

The cold snap biting the Louisville area should be over by the end of the week.Forecaster Jim Maczko of the National Weather Service in Louisville says arctic air from Canada has settled over the Louisville area, bringing temperatures below the freezing mark. That high pressure system is expected to move out over the next two days, and Maczko says their forecasts show a pretty mild remainder of the month."Our normal temperatures at this time of year are right at the mid-40s," says Maczko, "so especially with the next seven days, once we get beyond Friday, with high temperatures in the 50s, that will be above average and that trend looks like it will continue."High temperatures for Thursday are expected to be around 32-degrees, warming up over the weekend.
