Looking for a fabulous medium-haired orange kitty who loves everyone? Then you must meet Kale. This handsome, affectionate five-month-old kitten came to the Kentucky Humane Society at just two weeks of age. His mother was unable to nurse Kale and his four siblings, so another mother cat in their former home accepted them into her brood. But with nine kittens now to feed, the mother was struggling. And Kale and his siblings--who were a week younger than the other litter--were unable to compete for milk. When they arrived at our doors, Kale and his siblings needed immediate help. We quickly found an experienced, medical foster home to bottle feed the younger kittens. Sadly, one of the kittens was too weak to survive. But Kale and the remaining three kittens thrived, and now they are ready for their forever homes. The kittens are spayed and neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Meet Kale – and his siblings – at the Kentucky Humane Society’s Main Campus, 241 Steedly Drive in Louisville.
