WFPK announces The Guestlist with Sean Cannon

91.9 FM WFPK announces The Guestlist, a new syndicated, weekly interview series with on-air WFPK After Dark host Sean Cannon. The show, premiering Oct. 5, will air Mondays at 8 p.m on 91.9 WFPK FM and is available for download on iTunes.

Every week on The Guestlist, you'll hear casual, in-depth conversations and guest DJ sets with musicians, comedians, actors, authors, and other notable weirdos, like Elijah Wood, John Waters, The Zombies, Wayne Coyne (The Flaming Lips), Kris Kristofferson, Wyatt Cenac (The Daily Show), Chuck D (Public Enemy), Mark Duplass (FX's "The League"), and Ira Glass.

“It’s kind of like making a new friend at the end of the bar — then finding out they were in your favorite band,” said Cannon.

The show also features ongoing contributions from folks like Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Tim Harrington (Les Savy Fav), graphic design luminary Aaron Draplin, and the AV Club, among others.

About the host
Sean Cannon is one of the very few humans to ever coax a famous cat into rapping. In addition to hosting The Guestlist, he's worn many hats in the past: concert promoter, boxer of rock stars, music blogging pioneer, graphic designer, newspaper man, and food eater.

People Magazine even called him "[a] host." Now that's a ringing endorsement!
