Unseasonably Cold Temperatures Move Into Louisville Area

What's left in Louisville following Monday's snowfall are very unseasonably cold temperatures.

Jefferson County Public Schools will open on a normal schedule on Tuesday, but some Louisville area school districts are delaying the start of school:

(We'll post the larger school districts' schedule changes when we get them, but most Louisville area schools appear to be operating on a normal schedule Tuesday.)

The high temperature Tuesday is forecast to be 22 degrees—and the nighttime low is forecast to be 17 degrees, the National Weather Service said.

The weather service said wild chills could go as low as -2 degrees.
