In college football, the University of Louisville Cardinals are back at work this week, preparing for their home season finale against Memphis. The 9-1 Cards are coming off a 20-13 victory over Houston. It’s been widely speculated that junior quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will enter the NFL draft after this season, but coach Charlie Strong says they haven’t discussed it. Strong even suggested today that the door might be open for Bridgewater’s return."You look at Teddy, Teddy came in with a group of guys he’s grown up with. So now, I don’t know if there’s separation there, I don’t know if that comes into play with him. And I think that’s going to weigh a lot on him, because those guys have been tight from high school even now into college," Strong said today. Strong noted that highly touted quarterback Tim Tebow stayed for his senior season at Florida. He said Bridgewater would not be recognized as part of the team's Senior Day pregame ceremony Saturday. Despite the victory over Houston, the Cards dropped two spots in this week’sAP and coaches’ polls. U of L is ranked 21st and 15th, respectively.Saturday’s kickoff at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium is at noon. The Kentucky Wildcats are back in action Saturday at Georgia, while Indiana travels to Ohio State.
