IU Ousted From NCAA Tournament, 61-50

The Indiana Hoosiers have been eliminated from the men’s NCAA basketball tournament.IU, the number one seed in the East Region, fell to Syracuse 61-50 Thursday night in Washington, D.C. The Hoosiers finish the season with a 29-7 record. Syracuse will face Marquette Saturday for a trip to the Final Four. Victor Oladipo led IU in scoring with 16 points; Christian Watford added 13.Indiana, the Big Ten regular season champs this year, was vying for its first NCAA Elite Eight appearance since 2002.
