This Week on State of the News

Segment A: Nothing But Net host Mark Bacon joins us to talk about last night's game between the University of Louisville and Michigan State, and what might happen this weekend when the University of Kentucky takes the court against Indiana University. Will our rival teams from the Commonwealth meet up in the Final Four? Then we'll turn our attention to other news from Metro Louisville this week, including Harold Workman's retirement from the Fair Board, why your car could be booted (even while parked legally), the end of pink slime at Kroger, and Erica Peterson’s look at whether our bourbon contains genetically modified corn (Hint: It probably does).Segment B: KPR's Kenny Colston will catch us up on this week's goings-on in the Kentucky General Assembly, including Senate budget changes, and the latest movement on the pseudoephedrine bill. Then we'll talk to WFPL's Erin Keane about this week's Humana Festival offerings, her chat with playwright Greg Kotis, and the announcement of Actors Theatre's 2012-2013 season.Segment C: For our last segment we'll check in with the News and Tribune’s Jerod Clapp and LEO Weekly's Anne Marshall for an update on tornado recovery, and some reflections on what it's been like to cover the storm and its aftermath.
