The Louisville Cards have advanced in the men's NCAA basketball tournament with a 69-62 victory over Davidson in a West Region game in Portland, Oregon.The Cards will face the winner of today's New Mexico/Long Beach State game on Saturday.Western Kentucky and UK square off at 6:50pm today at the KFC Yum Center. Murray State advanced today with a victory over Colorado State.
Rick Howlett was midday host and the host of LPM's weekly talk show, "In Conversation." He was with LPM from 2001-2023 and held many different titles, including Morning Edition host, Assignment Editor and Interim News Director. He died in August 2023. Read a remembrance of Rick here.
