Foreign Investor Ambassador Approves of Two Louisville Area Projects
An immigration expert is touting two Louisville-area projects throughout India giving foreign investors the opportunity to gain expedited green cards in exchange for investing in either project.Dr. Sudhir Shah has finished touring the old Colgate factory in Clarksville and the RobinBrooke Place senior living facility in Elizabethtown. Shah now plans on hosting several seminars throughout India to promote both projects to hundreds of foreign investors who have put their trust in Shah's expertise.“Sitting back in Mumbai I will not be knowing what this Colgate project is or what is Louisville. When I tell them, you invest in this project, they’re going to do it because they have faith in me and that is why I came here, to see things with my own eyes,” he said. This isn’t Shah’s first time to the United States, although if you ask him he has difficulty counting how many American business trips he's taken. In India, he's well known for having extensive knowledge of U.S. immigration issues. His job this past week included meeting with officials from the Midwest Center for Foreign Investment, which helps manage the federal EB-5 investment program, which offers immigrants expedited green cards in exchange for investments of $500,000 to $1 million and job creation.Shah toured the former Colgate factory and was breifed on the Clark’s Landing Project last week and he said he approves of the project and he said he appreciates it's historical significance.“And once developed, it will have tremendous importance; so I think the people who will invest monies their will grow, the property will develop nicely. And compared to other projects, which I’ve seen in New York and California, I think the project is very, very good,” he said.Shah has scheduled seminars across India to recommend the two Louisville-area projects to hundreds of foreign investors. Five individuals have already committed to the Clark’s Landing Project and Shah said he expects many more to jump onboard after the seminars.
