The Federal Aviation Administration has been in partial shutdown since July 22 when Congressional negotiations over extending funding for the agency broke down. The shutdown affects over 4,000 FAA employees, including engineers and air safety inspectors, and 70,000 contract workers. And it’s costing the federal government nearly 30 million dollars every day. We’ll examine the reasons for the stalemate.As Ramadan begins, we’ll talk about the meaning of the Holy Month to Muslims around the world.Here in Louisville, we were invaded by the Asian Tiger Mosquito a few years ago. And now the pest is continuing its march northward. We’ll have an update on what they call the urban mosquito.And the government is cracking down on hackers, but is it going after small fry instead of the real criminals?
