Indiana Secretary of State Charlie White will likely find out today if he faces removal from office. The Indiana Recount Commission meets to consider a complaint filed by the Democratic Party against the Republican office-holder. It contends that White falsely used his ex-wife’s address on a voter registration form so he could maintain his eligibility for a town council seat in the event he lost the race for Secretary of State.White also faces charges of voter fraud and perjury in a separate criminal case.He contends that he spent most nights at his ex-wife’s home to be near his son, but was also on the road campaigning and sometimes stayed at a condo he purchased for him and his future wife.Democrats want White removed from office and his Democratic opponent in the election, Vop Osili, to be installed as Secretary of State.
