A Southern California-based construction company has announced plans to move its corporate headquarters to Louisville and to create 41 local jobs. Dharma Construction Services specializes in projects for the senior care industry, such as critical care and physical therapy units. "We came here because most of our clients are here. We work for the Atrias and the Kindreds in California. It made good sense to work for these national players in other parts of the country since we provided that service on the west coast," CEO Barry Kahn (in photo) said during a Wednesday press conference in Louisville. Dharma will receive performance-based state tax incentives of up to $1 million. Mayor Greg Fischer says a cornerstone of his economic development plan is to make Louisville the hub of the aging care industry.
