Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson is resigning at the end of the month to become the Director of the Institute of Politics at Harvard University. Grayson earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard College in 1994. The Institute of Politics was established in 1966 as a memorial to President John F. Kennedy. Grayson will succeed former U-S Senator John Culver as head of the institute.Gov. Steve Beshear today appointed Bowling Green Mayor Elaine Walker to replace Grayson. Walker says she intends to run for a full term as Secretary of State.
