By Sheila AshLouisville’s Wayside Christian Mission is planning several activities for its residents to celebrate Christmas.Chief Operating Officer Nina Moseley says the festivities begin early Christmas Eve morning."The children will actually come in around 6:00am and they’ll have breakfast and then Santa arrives at seven in the morning so they’ll all get to sit on Santa’s lap and tell him what they’d like to have for Christmas, she said. Moseley says several people in the community have sponsored many of the families and provided toys and clothing.She says the annual shelter party with Santa begins at 7:00pm Friday when all the gifts will be distributed.In addition, volunteers will serve meals and there will be entertainment throughout the day on Christmas.
