The four thousand acre park system planned for the Floyd's Fork corridor in southestern Jefferson County will include a new educational center.PNC Financial Services Group Regional President Chuck Denny says a $1 million gift from the company's foundation will finance the facility. "(It) will be located in the Beckley Creek Park and will be a 3,500 square foot center that will be used for not only as an interpretive center for visitors coming to the park but also educational space," he said. Construction will begin in the spring of 2011, with the building scheduled to open in May of 2012.
