Independent candidate for Louisville mayor Jackie Green says there won't be a major shake-up of city government if he's elected. Speaking on WFPL's State of Affairs program Thursday, Green said he doesn't want a "wholesale overhaul" of personnel and compromise stability."We have good administrators, and I would ask each of them to give me a letter of resignation, signed but undated. As long as they can perform their jobs well and keep to the vision, to the direction, they will be on board. If they can't, we'll date it," he said.Green faces Democrat Greg Fischer and Republican Hal Heiner in the November election. All three candidates will take part in a debate Friday, sponsored by the Downtown Management District. It will be aired live on WFPL, starting at noon.
