By Andy FreudenburgAs part of National Fishing and Boating Week, anglers across Kentucky can fish this weekend without a licenseor trout permit.  The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources says it’s an effort to attract new people to fishing, boating and other water-related recreation. Spokesperson Mark Marraccini says there are also be many organized opportunities for people to cast a line.“There are a number of fishing events, probably about 500 fishing events going all over the state right now. A lot of them are in urban areas, many of them are just in communities, they may be under the guides of community of fishing community events but we have had a hand in helping getting all of these events going all over the state.”Children 15 and under can fish without a license year-round in Kentucky.
