by Stephanie CrosbyThe University of Louisville College of Arts and Sciences will induct four people into its Hall of Honor tomorrow evening.Dean Blaine Hudson says there are 28 plaques honoring 29 people so far in the Hall of Honor, which started in 2007. Among this year’s inductees is Lucy Freibert, an English professor emerita.“Lucy Freibert was a long-term member of our English department, outstanding teacher, really was a pioneer in women’s studies and gender equity issues at the University Louisville. I think she taught the first women’s studies course here almost 40 years ago," says Hudson.Other honorees include former head librarian Eliza Atkins Gleason, Bach scholar Gerhard Herz and former political science and liberal studies chair Phil Laemmle.The ceremony takes place Thursday evening at six at the Speed Art Museum.
