Winter Weather Update: Monday 5am

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 7pm tonight.The expected snowfall amount has dropped with the latest forecast this morning. The National Weather Service predicts light to occasionally moderate snow will continue through early afternoon before transitioning to snow showers. The most significant accumulations will occur during the morning hours.We expect 4 to 6 inches of snow across southern Indiana. Around 4 inches are likely across north central and east central Kentucky.In the Louisville area, we expect a maximum total snowfall of 4 inches.Keep in mind that roads will be slick and slush covered, and winds of 10 to 20 mph will bring raw and chilly conditions today.Winter Storm WarningLouisville NWS Forecast
