High Wind Warning Continues

A high wind warning remains in effect for the Louisville area and parts of Kentucky until 7:00 Wednesday evening.The National Weather Service says wind gusts approaching 60 miles per hour are possible.Strong winds have already caused some power outages across the area.E.ON U.S. says as of late Wednesday  morning,  about 6,800 LG and E customers were without service.Another 2,800 Kentucky Utilities customers across Kentucky were without service.Officials warn residents to stay away from downed power lines, which can be reported at 589-3500.
