A Philadelphia-based medical equipment company has announced it will move its corporate headquarters to Louisville.RecoverCare distributes wound care and bariatric equipment. The decision follows the company's merger with Louisville-based MedaSTAT USA, which is also a provider of wound care products.RecoverCare CEO Mark Bidner says the move will create 57 new jobs in Louisville."Most of the jobs are high-level administrative jobs, all the way from customer service representatives....to high-level accounting functions, controllers, account managers, things of that nature," he said.Bidner says the relocation will be complete by early to mid-2010. The company is currently sharing space at the MedaSTAT facility in eastern Louisville.
