U of L Men's Basketball: Cards Visit UNLV Saturday

The University of Louisville men's basketball team spent Thanksgiving in Las Vegas, where the Cards are preparing for Saturday's matchup with UNLV.It's the first true road game of the young season for U of L.   Coach Rick Pitino says the trip will help his team prepare for its next road contest January 2nd at Rupp Arena.

"We wanted to go into an environment before Kentucky that is very hostile and has a very strong home court advantage, and UNLV was a very strong segue last time we did it,"  Pitino said this week.Saturday's tipoff in Las Vegas is 4:00pm Eastern time.The Kentucky Wildcats are idle until Monday, when they'll take on UNC-Asheville  in Louisville.   Indiana takes on Northwestern State Saturday in Bloomington.
