Brandeis Honored At U Of L

The University of Louisville's Brandeis School of Law honored its namesake Friday.The school held a ceremony marking Brandeis' 153rd birthday and commemorating a new postage stamp honoring the justice.Brandeis served on the court from 1916 through 1939 and Congressman John Yarmuth says his writings from that time remain relevant."He wrote a book once called Other People's Money and it was talking about the possible abuses of financial institutions and we've seen some of the problems that have arisen over the last few years."Brandeis is one of four justices honored on stamps this year. The others are Joseph Story, Felix Frankfurter and William Brennan.
