Kragthorpe: Cards Frustrated By Losses

University of Louisville football coach Steve Kragthorpe says his players are trying to regroup following a disappointing start to the season.

The Cards have a 1 and 3 record after losing 35-10 Friday night at home to Pittsburgh."I mean my spirit's down (too), I mean nobody likes to lose, you play this game to win, nobody wants to walk out of here and not have a win under their belts. You have to pick yourself up and keep going, and keep fighting. Our guys are going to do that, I'm confident of that. Our staff is doing that right now," Kragthorpe said at his weekly press conference Monday. He says his players are frustrated by penalties and other mistakes that have plagued them over the past three games.U of L's next opponent is Southern Mississippi, Saturday night at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. The Golden Eagles are 3-2 on the season.
