The National Urban League's Economic Empowerment Tour made a stop in Louisville Tuesday.
National Urban League President Marc Morial says the free event at the Kentucky International Convention Center was both a job fair and a place for people to seek help if they're threatened with home foreclosure."Some people have both problems because sometimes if you have lost your job it puts you behind on your home mortgage. So that's why we combined both services if you will," Morial said.The Louisville event was one of just three stops on the national tour.Those who couldn't make it can still obtain information from the event at the Louisville Urban League office.
