The Louisville Antique Mall is closing its doors after 26 years of operation.Owner Denise Golden said in a press release Monday that the antique business has been hit especially hard by the economic recession. She says even though customer trafffic in the mall has been strong, people aren't spending as much.The mall opened in 1983 on Goss Avenue and was moved to its current location at 834 East Broadway last year.Golden says the operation has 14 employees and includes more than 200 antique dealers.The mall will close at the end of this month.
