Downsizing Your Life
There comes a time when many people have to consider downsizing their lives, whether it be their homes, their spending, or their lifestyles. For the elderly, this is often the result of retirement or loss of a partner. Whatever the reason, it can be a stressful and sometimes painful process for the individual and their family. Should you move from your home to a smaller house or condo? Which possessions should you keep and which can be discarded? How can you support yourself in retirement, while having money to leave for your children? Whether you are facing these questions now, or they are lingering in your future, it's never too early to begin preparing for this major life change.
