Liquor Laws

Liquor Laws

Let's say you're having a barbecue this weekend and you want to serve beer and margaritas. You might be able to buy the beer in a grocery store or gas station. Maybe you can get your tequila at a drug store, but only if you go across the county line. It's possible you can get the booze and beer in the same place, depending on where you live, or maybe, on certain days of the week or times of the day, you can't get either one. The laws governing the sale and consumption of alcohol can seem nonsensical and impossible to understand. Add to that the fact that regulations differ depending on your state, city, county, and even precinct, and you've got total confusion. Join us this Wednesday when we attempt to make some sense out of the liquor laws in Kentucky and Indiana.
