A Louisville postal facility has been renamed to honor ten local service members who lost their lives in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.Family members, friends and postal service workers gathered outside the Hikes Point branch post office Thursday morning for the ceremony.Congressman John Yarmuth sponsored a bill that renames the facility "The Iraq and Afghanistan Fallen Military Heroes of Louisville Memorial Post Office Building."Among the speakers was Retired Army Chaplain Hugh Dukes: "May we acknowlege their ultimate sacrifice, and the sacrifices of family and friends, but may we remember their lives and devotion and service to their community and nation," Dukes said.Postal Service District Manager for Kentucky Ann Wright told the crowd that it's fitting that a postal facility is being renamed for the fallen servicemen, as one out of four postal employees is a veteran and 23 percent of postal employees serve in the National Guard and Reserve.
