Kentucky will hold its first-ever summit on financial literacy this week in Louisville.Educators, business leaders and policy-makers will participate in the discussions.Jan Mester is president of the Kentucky Council on Economic Education, which is organizing the event."We're going to be talking about trends and issues about teaching personal finance in the classroom and then sharing what important best practices are going on and then brainstorming how we can do an even better job moving forward," Mester said.The summit will be held Wednesday and Thursday at the Marriott East Hotel in Louisville.
