Two dozen Louisville Metro Police officers have been disciplined for inappopriate use of the department's computer system. Police Chief Robert White says an investigation resulted in a written reprimand for 21 officers."Either having an inappropriate email forwarded to them on the department email, or forwarding an inappropriate email on the department email, or in the case of several supervisors, failing to take action once it was brought to their attention," White said.White would not specify what was in the e-mail, describing it only as offensive and indecent. Two officers were given a harsher punishment for other offenses. Lieutenant Dwayne Reed was demoted and Officer Scott Barto was suspended for five days for accessing internet materials that White described as pornographic or obscene.A written reprimand was issued last month for Homicide Detective Timothy Hightower as part of the same investigation.
