The perfume maker is Mandy Aftel of Aftelier Perfumes, a California company which still uses botanical extracts and essences in its artisanal creations. Vermont extension specialist Dr. Leonard Perry talks about the amazing variety of fragrances in the garden, and their impacts on humans and insects.
